  • Description: Climbing shrubs; stem prickly. Leaves ovate-oblong or ovate-lanceolate, 3-5-ribbed from base. Flowers unisexual, greenish-white. Fruit a Berry, subglobose; seeds globose.
  • Habit: Climbers/Lianas
  • Habitat: Moist deciduous and semi-evergreen forests, also in the plains
